After 28 days of curing, concrete is almost indestructible, requiring only an occasional soap and water cleaning. Stains should be removed immediately and discoloring can be removed with pressure washing and special chemicals.
Concrete areas subject to harsh weather and repeated freeze–thaw cycles are prone to spalling and scaling. Periodic sealing helps to prevent damage.
