Stucco, Patch & Finish Coats

Stucco is a traditional rugged wall finish that has many decorative uses. It can also be formed into decorative architectural elements such as trims, cornices, sills, columns, keystones, corbels and brackets, and pediment flowers. Made of an aggregate, binder, and water, stucco is applied wet and hardens to a dense solid material.

Applied in three layers over lath, stucco is a long–lasting finish. The key to a good installation is preventing water infiltration. Billy Bricks’ crews are skilled at preventing efflorescence, the unattractive white dust that forms on stucco as it dries out. You’ll be proud to have Billy Bricks’ skilled artisans work on your stucco project—whether patch or finish coats.

Sometimes, stucco cracks. Cracks can indicate the presence of moisture or may result from soil movement or wind pressure. In new construction, cracks can indicate lumber shrinkage. If you notice cracks, contact Billy Bricks for prompt repair at a fair price. We’ll let you know what’s causing it and whether it’s something to worry about.
